A very rare vintage 1970 30 years-old Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky from The Distillery of Independence single sherry cask botttling range, distilled on 18th March 1970 and after more than 30 years of maturing in sherry cask no. 2017 bottled on 7th June 2000 sin a limited edition of only 278 individually numbered bottles with the old eagle label indicating the cask number without the addition of dyes and chill filtration at cask strength 51.0% vol.
This old style Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky has a beautiful dark amber colour and shows an extraordinary quality, is complex, absolutely first class and is without question a very special rarity today.
