A very rare vintage 1971 40 year old Glenfarclas Single Cask Scotch Whisky from the Family Cask series and special bottling of a selected 1st fill sherry cask as a special release for The Whisky Shop Dufftown. For this purpose, a selected first fill sherry cask with cask no. 152 was filled at Glenfarclas on 8th January 1971, matured for 40 years in the cask and was bottled without the addition of dyes and chill filtration in a limited edition of only 496 bottles on 14th February 2011 at cask strength 51.6% vol. as a limited vintage 1971 special release.
