A rare and stunning vintage 1988 28 year old Glenfarclas Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenfarclas limited Family Casks Winter 2017 single cask series and special bottling from a selected first fill sherry butt. For this, Glenfarclas filled a selected sherry butt with cask no. 6986 in 1988, the distillate matured in the cask for 28 years and was bottled in an edition of 507 bottles on 3rd November 2017 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 53.3% vol. as a limited Winter release S17.
