This rare and great vintage 1989 24 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky is number 18 of the Special Limited Edition range for the Scottish theologian, Franciscan and philosopher of scholasticism John Duns Scotus from the year 2014. The fine Glenfarclas Highland single malt was distilled in 1989, matured for 24 years in selected Olororos sherry casks with the cask nos. 5249-52, 12992 and 13090 and was bottled in 2014 in a limited edition of 2.400 individually numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at 46.0% vol.
Since 1996, Glenfarclas has released a series of limited edition bottlings and each bottling is dedicated to a famous Scottish figure in history. The series continues to this day, each bottling is limited and usually sold out within a very short time.
