This rare vintage 1990 17 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky is number 12 of the special limited edition series for Charles Doig from the year 2007. The Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt was distilled on 7th February and 23th April 1990, matured for 17 years in a selected refill sherry hogshead with the cask no. 1088 and 2 sherry butts with the cask nos. 4705 and 4706 and was bottled on 26th September 2007 in a limited edition of 1200 individually numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at 46.0% vol.
Since 1996, Glenfarclas has released a series of limited edition bottlings and each bottling is dedicated to a famous Scottish figure in history. The series continues to this day, each bottling is limited and usually sold out within a very short time.
