A rare vintage 1996 22 years-old Glenfarclas Single Cask Scotch Whisky from the Family Casks Summer 2018 series and a special bottling of a selected 1st fill sherry butt. For this purpose, Glenfarclas filled a selected sherry butt with cask no. 1499 in 1996, the distillate was allowed to mature for 22 years in the cask and was bottled on 3rd July 2018 without the addition of colourings and chill filtration at cask strength 46.8% abv as a limited summer release S18 in an edition of only 225 bottles.
