This rare and marvellous vintage 1971 26 year old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled on 15th December 1971 and, after more than 26 years of maturation in a selected Spanish sherry oak cask with the cask No. 4678, was bottled in 1998 in the Lang Brothers single cask 1 limited edition without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration in a limited edition of only 594 bottles at natural cask strength 57.0% vol. and is presented in a wooden box with an acrylic glass front.
This extremely successful and outstanding old style Glengoyne Higland single malt Scotch whisky is one of only 4 known vintage 1971 bottlings from the Highland distillery Glengoyne and is considered by connoisseurs to be absolutely excellent.
