This very rare and terrific vintage 1982 22 years old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled on 23th December 1982 and, after than 22 years of maturation in a bourbon barrel with cask no. 449, was bottled in May 2005 in the Ronnie´s Choice limited single cask edition without added colouring or chill filtration in a limited edition of only 200 individually numbered bottles at natural cask strength 53.6% vol. and is presented in a solid wooden box.
This great Glengoyne single malt is named Ronnies Choice because it was chosen by stillman Ronald T. Palmer and bottled at the Glengoyne distillery in his honour and contribution. The bottle label features a photograph of Ronnie Palmer and each bottle bears his signature.
A exceptionally beautiful pale gold coloured Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, the only known vintage 1982 bottling and one of the few single malts from the Highland distillery Glengoyne matured in bourbon barrel, which is very hard to find today, is considered absolutely fabulous and received 91 points from Serge / WhiskyFun.
