This very rare and magnificent vintage 1987 24 year old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled on 14th May 1987 and, after more than 24 years of maturation in a European Oak Sherry Butt with cask no. 354, was bottled in September 2011 in the Lang Brothers Limited Single Cask Edition without added colouring or chill filtration in a limited edition of only 515 individually numbered bottles at natural cask strength 54.8% vol. and is presented in a solid wooden box.
A very successful and outstanding very dark mahogany coloured Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky and one of only 5 known vintage 1987 bottlings from the Highland distillery Glengoyne, which is very rare to find today, is considered absolutely first class and received 91 points from Serge / WhiskyFun.
