A very rare vintage 1968 35 year old Glenlivet Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the famous Cask Strength Rare Auld Limited Edition by Duncan Taylor, distilled in April 1968 and bottled after more than 35 years of maturation in an oak cask with the cask no. 2840 in January September 2003 without added colouring and chill filtration at cask strength 43.6% vol. in an edition of only 261 individually hand-numbered bottles. This great 35-year-old Glenlivet Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the late 1960s has a beautiful amber colour and delights with its maturity and complexity.
The whiskies offered between 2002 and 2011 by Duncan Taylor in the Peerless Cask Strength Rare Auld Edition acquired by Abe Rosenberg since the early 1960s come from the more than 4000 casks of selected premium distilleries, such as Aberlour, Ben Riach, Bowmore, Brora, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caperdonich, Clynelish, Dallas Dhu, Dalmore, Glen Grant, Glen Moray, Glenburgie, Glenesk, Glenlivet, Glenlossie, Glenrothes, Highland Park, Inchgower, Knockando, Linlithgow, Laphroaig, Longmorn, Macallan, Macduff, Miltonduff, Old Pulteney, Springbank, Strathisla, Strathmill, Tamdhu and Tomatin and are all bottled as single cask whiskies in limited editions.
