This exquisite vintage 1996 19 year old Glenlivet Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky by Kirsch Whisky personally selected at Signatory Vintage from an Oloroso sherry butt with the cask no. 83263 and was bottled as part of the Single Cask Seasons edition series for Autumn 2015, now well-known among connoisseurs and collectors, without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 50.4% vol. in an edition of 611 individually numbered bottles.
After distillation in May 1996, this fine Glenlivet Speyside single malt Scotch whisky spent over 19 years slowly maturing in an Oloroso sherry butt before finally being bottled in September 2015. A very successful Vintage 1996 19 Years Glenlivet Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, which shows on the nose fine aromas of blackberries, blackcurrant, roasted apples, demerara sugar and spices, subtle cinnamon, cardamom and sherry, the taste is intense and pleasant, sweet with sherry flavours, dark cherries, dates and sultanas, spices, cinnamon, white pepper, soft oak and dark honey, the finish is long, warm, sweet and spicy with tobacco leaves, crisp oak, herbs and a hint of old leather - an impressive Glenlivet Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky!
