The vintage 2003 14 year old Glenlivet Speyside Single Malt Scotch whisky is a single cask whisky selected by the master distiller and was bottled after 14 years of maturation in a sherry butt with the cask no. 4518 in December 2017 in the limited aingle cask edition in an edition of 642 individually numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at cask strength 60.1% vol.
On the nose, a fascinating combination of rich and sweet aromas, ripe apricots, liquorice and fruity sultanas. The taste is sweet and spicy, the rich dried fruit flavour harmonises perfectly with fresh ginger cake and red apples, enriched with a hint of roasted almonds and zesty lemon. The finish is long and dry with a spicy aftertaste.
