A very rare vintage 1972 22 year old Glenmorangie Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled on 9th October 1972 and bottled after 22 years of maturation in an American oak bourbon barrel with cask no. 1830 on 28th November 1994 in the Rare Vintage Single Barrel Limited Bottling series without the addition of colouring agents and cool filtration in an edition of 250 individually numbered bottles at 46.0% vol.
An elegant Glenmorangie Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky with the typical Glenmorangie spiciness and, thanks to the old style, a little more peat than today coming from the ground malts. The fine Glenmorangie single malt was carefully aged in the selected American bourbon barrel and allowed to mature for over 22 years in the low, stony and earthy Glenmorangie warehouses infused with fresh sea air currents from the Dornoch Firth.
