The vintage 1995 10 year old Glenmorangie Artisan Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was matured in special slow-grown and 2 year air-dried white oak casks from the Ozark Moutanins in Missouri for more than 10 years by Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden. The first filling of the selected casks was done with a specially selected bourbon whiskey, afterwards the casks were brought to Tain in Scotland and filled with new make.
This exceptional Glenmorangie Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky does not live on age, through the use of the special woods of selected white oak with particularly thin annual rings, the malt matures particularly intensively.
A special Glenmorangie Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky and the predecessor to the famous Glenmorangie Astar, which is rarely found today.
