A rare and exceptional 15 year-old Greenore single grain small batch Irish whiskey bottled by Ireland's only independent distillery Cooley in the year 2008 in an edition of 5000 bottles at 43.0% ABV. The unique 100% Greenore single grain Irish whiskey was distilled at the Cooley distillery near Dundalk and matured in selected 1st fill bourbon casks in the 200 year old warehouses of the former Locke's distillery in Kilbeggan in the county of Westmeath.
The 15 year-old Greenore Single Grain Irish Whiskey from the Cooley distillery was named World's Best Single Grain Whiskey for the third time in a row at the World Whiskies Awards in early 2011 and is rarely found today.
