A spectacular and very rare vintage 1967 37 years-old Highland Park sherry cask Orkney Island single malt scotch whisky by John Scott and Miller Ltd. with the John Scott s Label, distilled in 1967 and bottled after 37 years of maturation in sherry cask no. 3131 in the year 2004 without added dyes or chill filtration in collaboration with Duncan Taylor at cask strength 50.6% abv in an edition of only 227 individually hand-numbered bottles.
This outstanding 37-year-old sherry-cask matured Highland Park Orkney single cask scotch whisky from the 1960s has a beautiful amber colour and inspires with its maturity and complexity.
This bottling is one of only 12 single casks and 5 stunning Highland Park single malts from the 1960s by Robert Firth Miller, former owner of John Scott and Miller Ltd, bottled in limited editions under the John Scott s label in 2003 to 2004 and 2007 and 2009. The name John Scott, which was the original name of the company, was featured on shop bottling s of Highland Park up until 1955.
