The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Glenury Roayl Limited Edition 2019 Special Blended Scotch whisky is the third edition of the limited Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare series and was bottled in the year 2019 in individually numbered bottles without chill filtration in a limited edition at 43.8% vol.
The Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal Special Blend Scotch whisky is the third release from the year 2019 in the Ghost and Rare series by Johnnie Walker, which contains single malts selected by master blender Jim Beveridge from lost distilleries in their blend. The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare series is a series of limited edition bottlings, each centred on a different whisky from distilleries that are no longer in operation. This third release in the Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare series is dedicated to the Highland distillery Glenury Royal, which closed in 1985. In addition to the Glenury Royal single malt, the Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal Limited Edition contains blended Scotch whisky from two other closed distilleries: Cambus Grain and Pittyvaich single malt, as well as five other rare whiskies from the Cameronbridge, Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie and Glenkinchie distilleries that are still in operation.
The third edition from the Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare series consists of single malt whisky from the old Glenury Royal distillery, which was finally closed in 1985. Two other lost distilleries are also included in the Jonnie Walker Special Blended Scotch whisky - grain whisky from Cambus distillery and single malt from Pittyvaich - alongside five rare expressions from existing distilleries Cameronbridge, Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie and Glenkinchie.
