This stunning vintage 1979 18 years Lagavulin Distillers Edition Special Release lgv.4/463 Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky from the Classic Malts Selection of the Islay legend Lagavulin was distilled in the year 1979 and matured for almost 2 years in European Pedro Ximenez sherry oak casks - these give the whisky more fruit such as sultanas and dried fruit and a syrupy character. The bottling took place in the year 1997 under the direction of Master Distiller M. Nicholson at 43.0% vol. and the batch number lgv.04/463.
