This stunning Laphroaig Cairdeas cask strength 12 years Islay single malt celebrates the anniversary of the Friends of Laphroaig programme (Cairdeas means friendship in Gaelic) and was bottled in an edition of 4,000 bottles especially for the Islay Festival of Music and Malt in the year 2009.
The limited edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky was matured 12 years in Maker s Mark bourbon barrels and was the first Laphroaig bottling that was handled by Distillery Manager John Campbell.
