This exquisite 25 year old Longmorn Speyside Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled in the early/mid 1970s, matured for 25 years in a selected sherry cask with the cask no. 3233 and was bottled in May 2001 by Gordon and MacPhail in the Reserve Limited Single Cask Edition exclusively for the 25th Anniversary of Dieter Kirsch Whisky Import in a limited edition exclusively for Germany without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at 43.0% vol.
The independent bottler Gordon and MacPhail bottled their single malts for many well-known distilleries decades ago. As an original bottler, it saved the best casks for later. Selected bourbon and sherry casks were used almost exclusively for the many decades of maturation.
