A rare 10 year old Longrow 100 Proof Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch whisky, bottled after 10 years of maturation in selected refill bourbon hogsheads in the year 2006 without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at 57.0% vol. in a limited edition.
First distilled in the year 1973, the Longrow single malt Scotch whisky is a double-distilled, smoky single malt produced at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat-dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character.
The special 100 Proof Longrow single malt bottlings from Springbank were bottled in the year 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 after 10 years of maturation in selected bourbon casks with an alcohol content of 57.0% vol. and are now coveted expressions of Longrow among connoisseurs, whisky collectors and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
