A very rare and highly collectible over 14 years-old Longrow Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled for the Springbank Society, which was matured for nearly 15 years in a selected Fresh Sherry Butt and bottled in a limited edition of 600 bottles exclusively for the Springbank Society members and was not officially available. The 14 years-old Longrow Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in October 2001 and bottled in October 2016 without the addition of dyes and chill filtration at cask strength 58.9% vol.
First distilled in the year 1973, the Longrow single malt Scotch whisky is a double-distilled, smoky single malt produced at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat-dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character.
The special and limited Society Member bottlings from Longrow and Springbank are usually sold out within a short time and are coveted by connoisseurs, discerning whisky collectors and lovers of old Scotch whiskies, while the rare Single Cask bottlings are among the absolute rarities today.
