The Longrow CV Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a multi-vintage bottling and represented the entry into the Longrow and Springbank whisky range from 2008 to 2012. The abbreviation CV stands for curriculum vitae to express that different ages were used for the composition of the CV single malt.
First distilled in the year 1973, the Longrow single malt Scotch whisky is a double-distilled, smoky single malt produced at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat-dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character.
One of the early bottlings of Longrow CV Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky with maritime as well as medicinal notes and beautiful early expression from the year 2008 with a wonderfully pronounced Islay character and unique rough edges - already a rare rarity for connoisseurs and whisky collectors of fine old Scotch whiskies!
