The Red Label First Edition Macallan Cask Strength Sherry Oak Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was matured in selected sherry casks from Jerez and bottled uncoloured without chill filtering at cask strength 57.8% vol. at the end of the 1990s in a limited version exclusively for Remy Amerique with the special red label and has since become one of Macallan's coveted old and rare bottlings with its exceptionally dark amber colour and complex aromas.
