This special Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Macallan Elegancia series, produced from 2002 and discontinued in 2009, was matured for at least 12 years in selected dark oloroso and light fino sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, and was bottled in the year 2004 respectively 2005 without added colouring in a limited edition exclusively for the travel retail market.
