This extremely rare vintage 1990 13 year old Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky comes from Macallan's Exceptional Single Cask Series, which was produced in 6 editions between 1999 and 2004. In this edition, absolutely excellent single cask whiskies from selected Fino, Oloroso as well as Sherry Butt were bottled in a limited edition with an age of almost 14 to over 24 years.
The special vintage 1990 13 years old Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 6 Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was bottled exclusively for the company S. Fassbind AG in Switzerland in a limited edition of only 830 bottles without added colouring at cask strength 59.6% vol. The exclusive Macallan Single Malt Scotch whisky was filled into a selected sherry butt with the cask no.: 24483 on 21th December 1990, the nosing by whisky maker Bob Dolgamo took place on 13th June 2004, the transfer and filling into the interim storage on 16th November 2004 and the bottling took place after almost 14 years of maturation in warehouse no. 46 on 20th November 2004 without the addition of colouring and chill filtration at cask strength at 59.6% vol. All the details of this exceptional whisky have been handwritten on the back label and signed by Bob Dolgamo.
