An extremely rare vintage 1969 35 year old Macduff Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Rare Auld Collection by Duncan Taylor, distilled in April 1969 and bottled in September 2004 after 35 years of maturation in oak cask no. 3677 without colouring and chill filtration at cask strength 55.3% vol. in an edition of only 88 individually numbered bottles. The whiskies offered by Duncan Taylor in the Cask Strength Rare Auld Collection come from the 4000 casks of selected premium distilleries which Abe Rosenberg has acquired with great expertise since the early 1960s, such as Aberlour, Ben Riach, Bowmore, Brora, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caperdonich, Clynelish, Dallas Dhu, Dalmore, Glen Grant, Glen Moray, Glenburgie, Glenesk, Glenlivet, Glenlossie, Glenrothes, Highland Park, Inchgower, Knockando, Linlithgow, Laphroaig, Longmorn, Macallan, Macduff, Miltonduff, Old Pulteney, Springbank, Strathisla, Strathmill, Tamdhu and Tomatin and are all bottled as single cask whiskies in limited editions. All whiskies from the legendary Cask Strength Rare Auld Collection are of exceptional quality, have won several awards and especially the old bottlings from the 1960s of Macallan, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain are rare today and achieve considerable prices in the special auctions from Krüger, Bonhams and Christies.
