A rare old bottling of the vintage 1991 14 years-old Oban Double Matured Distillers Edition Special Release Limited Edition Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the year 2003. This special 14 year old Oban Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Classic Malts Selection was distilled in 1989, matured in American bourbon oak casks and was finished for at least 3 months in Montilla Fino sherry casks from the Montilla and Moriles area - these give the whisky more fruit and a syrupy character. The bottling was made in the year 2003 at 43.0% vol. and batch number OD 152.FO.
The Oban Distillers Edition Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky combines sharp and maritime flavours with grape and orange peel, followed by light smoke with a smooth character.
