A very rare vintage 1993 over 13 year old Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Bourbon Whiskey at 48.0% vol. and the 6th release from the year 2006 of the limited Birthday edition from the Brown-Forman distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. This fine Old Forester Bourbon Whiskey was distilled one week before the 2005 Birthday Bourbon and aged in barrels, but was matured for a further year. The result is an outstanding Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was awarded the Five Star Rating Highest Recommendation for its quality by the Spirit Journal in 2007 and won a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

- Nose: Very sweet and powerful with strong vanilla and caramel toffee like notes layering over hints of orange peel and tea leaves. Nice balance of oak opens with a hint of spearmint in the depths.
