A very rare vintage 1994 over 13 year old Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey at 47.0% vol. and the 7th release from the year 2007 of the limited Birthday Edition from the Brown-Forman distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. This vintage is a balance between the 2006 and 2007 vintages. While the 2005 Birthday Bourbon had heavy cinnamon and baking spice notes and the 2006 Birthday Bourbon showed a pronounced mint note, the 2007 release of the Old Forster Birthday Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey shows a pleasant mint note with warm cinnamon spices and shows the best of these two years in an impressive way.
The result is an outstanding 13 year old Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was honoured for its quality as American Whiskey Of The Year at WhiskeyFest New York in 2007 and received the Santé Gold Star from Santé magazine.
