A very rare and terrific vintage 1978 24 year old Port Ellen Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky, distilled on 28th March 1978 and bottled after 24 years maturation in a selected sherry butt on 20th June 2002 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration in a limited edition of only 602 individually numbered bottles as a limited edition single cask bottling by Douglas Laing exclusively to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Whisky Shop at cask strength 57.9% vol.
