A rare and stunning vintage 1983 26 years-old Port Ellen Islay single malt scotch whisky from the famous Rarest of the Rare cask strength closed distilleries historic collection by Duncan Taylor, which was distilled in March 1983 and after over 26 years of maturation in sherry oak cask no. 674 bottled in January 2010 without the addition of dyes and chill filtration in a batch of only 282 individually numbered bottles at cask strength 54.6% abv. This exceptional 26-year-old Port Ellen Islay Single Cask Scotch Whisky from the early 1980s has a beautiful dark amber colour, inspires with its complexity and unique character and is considered by connoisseurs and collector s to be a special highlight and unique rarity.
The single malt scotch whiskies offered by Duncan Taylor from 2004 to 2012 in the Rarest of the Rare cask strength historic collection comes all from closed distilleries such as Ayrshire, Banff, Caperdonich, Glen Albyn, Glencraig, Glenlochy, Glenugie, Glenury Royal, Inverleven, Kinclaith, Linlithgow, Mosstowie, North Port, Pittyvaich, Port Ellen and are a part of Abe Rosenberg s since the early 1960s expertly acquired casks.
