A rare and collectible 12 year old Rosebank Lowland single malt Scotch whisky at 43.0% vol. from the United Distillers Flora and Fauna range, distilled in the early 1990s and bottled in a limited edition in the year 2005.
The labels of the bottlings show various motifs from the animal and plant world. The name Flora and Fauna was probably created by the whisky connoisseur Michael Jackson and is not an official name of the whisky producer.
Since the late 1980s, United Disllers / Diageo have been producing in the Flora and Fauna series special single malts of selected distilleries such as Aberfeldy, Auchroisk, Balmenach, Benrinnes, Bladnoch, Blair Athol, Caol Ila, Clynelish, Dailuaine, Dufftown, Glen Spey, Glendullan, Glenlossie, Inchgower, Linkwood, Mannochmore, Mortlach, Pittyvaich, Royal Brackla, Strathmill and other renowned distilleries in limited editions.
This early and old bottling of the 12 years Rosebank Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the early 1990s is only rarely to be found today.
