This very rare vintage 1979 25 year old Royal Brackla Highland single malt Scotch whisky was matured for 25 years in an oak cask with the cask no. 4133 and was bottled without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 58.5% vol. by Jack Wieber in the Scottish Castles Collection series 12 in a limited edition of just 120 bottles in the year 2004.
The nearly impossible to find vintage 1979 25 years Royal Brackla Single Malt Scotch whisky from the late 1970s shines with a beautiful gold colour and is now considered a special rarity and coveted collector s item among connoisseurs, discerning whisky collectors and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
Jack Wiebers Whisky World: Lars-Göran Wiebers, who is actually just called Jack in the scene, is a German whisky importer from Berlin and has been marketing his own whisky bottlings from well-known distilleries very successfully since 1999 and has brought various series and some globally sought-after bottlings onto the market. His fame began for many connoisseurs and enthusiasts with the Scottish Castle series, the final edition of which unfortunately came onto the market in mid-2013. In the meantime, the series The Cross Hill, Auld Distillers Collection, Prenzlow Portfolio Collection, Old Train Line, Gentle Noses and the Great Ocean Liners as well as Old Passenger Liners have achieved a certain level of popularity and the mostly small editions with the sometimes unusual and eye-catching labels are sold out within a short space of time. The special Bowmore Wanted series, which always features a celebrity from the whisky scene on the label, has been the subject of much discussion.
