The highly collectable limited release 2017 of the 10-year-old Springbank Local Barley Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a true Campbeltown whisky. One hundred percent of the Belgravia barley used for this exceptional Springbank Single Malt Scotch Whisky is grown in the surrounding area (West Backs Farm) and processed at the distillery. The 10 years Springbank Local Barley Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in June 2007, then matured for more than 10 years in American oak bourbon casks (70%) and in selected sherry casks (30%) before it was bottled in November 2017 in an edition of 9.000 bottles with no added colouring and no chill filtration at cask strength 57.3% vol.
The special Springbank Local Barley Single Malt Scotch Whiskies are of exceptional quality, are usually sold out within a short time and are among the most sought-after bottlings from Springbank among connoisseurs, aficionados and discerning whisky collectors.
