The rare and highly sought after vintage 2010 10 year old Springbank Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky and limited release 2020 is another bottling from the limited edition Springbank Local Barley series and is a true Campbeltown whisky. One hundred per cent of the Belgravia barley used for this whisky from Glencraigs Farm on the Kintyre Peninsula is grown in the surrounding area and processed at the distillery. The 10 years Springbank Local Barley Single Malt was distilled in June 2010, then matured for over 10 years for 100% in selected Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled in December 2020 in a limited edition of 8,500 bottles without added colouring or chill filtration at cask strength 55.6% vol.
The special Springbank Local Barley Single Malt Scotch whiskies are of exceptional quality, are usually sold out within a short time and are among the most sought-after bottlings from Springbank among connoisseurs and whisky collectors.
