The 25 years Springbank Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch whisky was first bottled in the year 1995 and has been part of Springbank s standard range again since 2014, maturing predominantly in a combination of selected sherry, bourbon, port and rum casks.
This exquisite 25 years limited edition 2019 Springbank Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch whisky is elegant on the nose with violets, rhubarb, grilled meats, sugar cane molasses, tropical fruits and subtle oloroso sherry notes, the flavour is mature and very complex with figs, salt, tropical fruits, dark chocolate, pomegranate, hazelnut and salsify with a perfect balance and harmony of the sherry and rum casks, the finish is long, maritime and dry with coastal and earthy/dusty warehouse notes - definitely a true Springbank Campbeltwown single malt with great body and the typical facets of the Springbank distillery!
