An incredibly rare and legendary old bottling of the 30-year-old Springbank Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky from Springbank s Millennium Limited Edition series, which was distilled at the end of the 1960s and, after 30 years of maturation in selected sherry casks, was bottled in March 1999 in a limited edition without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at 46.0% vol. as Millennium Limited Edition No. 2.
The legendary Springbank Millennium Edition consisted of 6 exclusive whiskies and was bottled from September 1998 to March 2001 in a series of 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 year old whiskies.
The magnificent 30 year old Springbank Cambeltown single malt Scotch whisky matured in sherry casks has an extraordinary quality with its unusually dark mahogany colour, impressively shows the original Springbank character and the quality of the old sherry casks from the 1960s and received the impressive average of 91 points from the 7 Malt Maniacs.
