George T. Stagg was born in 1835 and founded in the 19th century, the golden age of Bourbon, the distillery, which is now known as the Buffalo Trace, near the river Kentucky. Like father like son - the Stagg Jr. Whiskey counts with the most famous American bourbon whiskeys, is now like Buffalo Trace to Sazerac Company and is also manufactured in the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. The Stagg Jr. Kentucky Straight Bourbon matured for eight to nine years in selected new oak barrels, is uncut and unfiltered and is delivered worldwide to just a few selected traders in small quantities. The Stagg Jr. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has won several awards for its excellent quality and today is certainly with the best bourbon whiskeys in the world. On the nose, rich and sweet with chocolate and brown sugar on the palate with a perfect balance of vanilla, rye tones and wood and with an almost endless finish with hints of cherry, cloves and a slight smokiness.
