The great 12 years old Suntory Hibiki Japan Blended Whisky is one of the premium blends worldwide. Hibiki, which means harmony in Japanese, is a master blend of carefully selected 30 full-bodied malt and grain whiskies, which have rested for at least 12 years in various types of casks and ensure its multiple excellent complex aroma and a special taste experience. The blend is finished in casks in which Japanese liqueur from the Ume apricot had previously matured. It is then filtered through bamboo charcoal and bottled. The Suntory Hibiki 12 years has an impressive taste with its soft aromas, is mild and fresh with a little tannin, sherry, citrus, lime and grapefruit and was awarded with a gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge 2010 and many more. The 24 facets of the bottle symbolise the 24 seasons known from the ancient Sekki tradition, the old Japanese calendar.
The 12 Years Suntory Hibiki Japanese Blended Whisky is not only the most highly awarded blended whisky in Japan, but is also one of the most respected and recognised whiskies in the world today. Suntory has discontinued production and this extraordinary blended whisky is now rarely available.
