The 2001 special release of the 25 years Talisker Single Malt Scotch whisky is a true masterpiece from the malt masters of the Isle of Skye and is considered by connoisseurs to be an absolutely fabulous single malt with great character. It was bottled that year in an edition of 6.000 individually numbered bottles and is rarely found today.
The 25 year old Talisker Isle of Skye single malt Scotch whisky shines on the nose with metallic notes, sour cherry, sea breeze, iodine, grass, honey, old leather furniture, lots of dried fruit, very sweet and the taste shows wood, caramel, delicate smoke, lots of chocolate, oranges, leather, cocoa, some coffee, iodine, honey, plums in chocolate, sultanas, candied pineapple, wet stones, sea breeze with a long lasting and warming finish.
