A rare old vintage 1990 bottling of the 13 year old Talisker's Double Matured Special Release Distillers Edition Scotch Whisky from the year 2003. This 13-year-old Talisker single malt scotch whisky of the Classic Malts slection from the Isle of Skye was distilled in the year 1990, matured in American and European oak casks and was finished for at least 3 months in Amoroso sherry casks - these give the whisky more fruit such as sultanas and dried fruit and a syrupy character. The bottling was made in the year 2003 at 45.8% abv and the batch number TD-S: 5EQ.
The Talisker Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky combines the smoky maritime flavours of the island distillery with fruity sherry notes to create a wonderfully complex single malt with a robust yet charming character.
