This very rare vintage 1998 over 8 year old Thomas H. Handy Double Distilled Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Fall of 2006 is the 1st release and one of only 4.510 bottles of the limited edition Buffalo Trace Antique Collection 2006 from the renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery, which produces world renowned whiskey brands such as Pappy Van Winkle, George T. Stagg, William Larue Weller, Sazerac Rye, Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr and Eagle Rare.
With the Thomas H. Handy 8 Years Straight Rye Whiskey Spring of 1998, Buffalo Trace created a very intense and complex dark amber colored rye whisky and shows the special art of the American whiskey handwork.
The One and Only New Orleans Original. Sazerac Rye Whiskey symbolizes the tradition and history of New Orleans. Rye Whiskey that dates back to the 1800 s, around the time when saloons, veiled as Coffee Houses, began lining the streets of New Orleans. It was at the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street where local patrons were served toddies made with Rye Whiskey and Peychaud s Bitters. The libation became known as the Sazerac and America s first branded cocktail was born. This is the whiskey that started it all.
